1000 Degrees is becoming Longshot · What's changing

September 2026

We're Taking
the Shot

1000 Degrees Pizzeria at 1388 Hamilton Blvd is becoming Longshot Pizza & Wings.

We're going independent. Same kitchen, same crew, same brick oven — and finally, our own name on the door.

Your First Pizza
Is on Us

Leave your email and we'll tell you the day we open. Come see us that first week and we'll put a free 10″ specialty pizza in your hands.

One email to say we're open. We're not going to fill your inbox — we're running a pizza place, not a newsletter.

One email, once. That's it.

What Changes,
What Doesn't

Why "Longshot"

Some Things Are
Worth the Risk

Going out on our own is a risk. We know that. Nothing worth having ever showed up because somebody played it safe.

The name comes from our dog. We adopted Loki from a shelter ten years ago, after he'd already been through two families. Nobody would have called him a safe bet either.

Pizza Worth Betting On.

Nothing lost

Keep What
You've Earned

Your rewards points come with you. Everything you've built up carries over to Longshot — you don't lose it, and you don't start over.

Gift certificates too. If you bought one at 1000 Degrees, it's still good.

Questions

Is 1000 Degrees closing?

No. We close for a day or two to switch everything over, then we open right back up as Longshot Pizza & Wings. Same block, same building, new sign.

Is it the same people?

Same crew. The people who have been making your pizza are the people who will keep making it.

Is the food changing?

The pizza you order isn't going anywhere. We're adding a 16-inch, wraps, and beer on tap.

Why the change?

We're going out on our own. Same people, same oven — it'll finally have our name on it.

What about ordering online?

We're moving to a new ordering system, so you'll need to set yourself up again the first time. It takes a minute. The phone number works the same as it always has.

Will you still take my gift certificate?

Yes. Any gift certificate bought at 1000 Degrees is still good. Bring it in and we'll honor it just the same.

What happens to my rewards points?

They come with you. Your loyalty points and rewards transfer over to Longshot — you don't lose anything and you don't start over.

Where are you?

Right where we've always been — 1388 Hamilton Blvd, Sioux City. Open Sun–Thu 11 AM to 9 PM, Fri–Sat until 11 PM.

See You in September

Until then we're open as usual. Come in, and thanks for taking a shot on us.
